Ogun State Appoints Olanrewaju Iskeel Saka as Head of Service

Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun has officially appointed Olanrewaju Iskeel Saka as the new Head of Service for Ogun State. This appointment was made following the statutory retirement of the previous Head of Service, Kehinde Onasanya.

The announcement was made in a statement released on Friday by Tokunbo Talabi, the Secretary to the State Government. Olanrewaju Saka will serve as the permanent Secretary in the Bureau of Cabinet and Special Services.

He began his career in the Ogun State public service as a classroom teacher on May 15, 1993, and later transitioned to the mainstream civil service as a Senior Administrative Officer in 2006. Born on February 15, 1968, Saka is recognized for his extensive experience in policy coordination and strategic implementation.

He is also a distinguished member of several professional bodies, including the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies and the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management, and is a fellow of the Institute of Policy Management Development.
