Ogun IPAC Re-elects Abayomi Sanyaolu as Chairman

The Ogun State Chapter of the Inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC) held elections on Tuesday, resulting in the re-election of Abayomi Sanyaolu as chairman for a three-year term. The election, conducted by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) at its office in Magbon, Abeokuta, was described as peaceful, transparent, and orderly.

The event brought together stakeholders representing registered political parties across the state, showcasing IPAC's commitment to internal democracy and unity. The newly elected executive council includes Chief Olubukunla Soyoyor as deputy chairman from the Labour Party, Olufunk Olanrewaju as secretary from the ADP, Akerel Abiodun as deputy secretary from the Boot Party, Yaya Adesina as treasurer from the AAC, Biola Martin as organizational secretary from the APP, Yinka William as financial secretary from the SDP, and Adeyemi Oluwaseyifunmi as public secretary from the YPP.

The council expressed gratitude to INEC for facilitating an enabling environment for the elections and reaffirmed its commitment to promoting political harmony and credible electoral processes in Ogun State.
