Adeley Wins APC Ticket for Ifo/Ewekoro Constituency

On Saturday, Motunrayo Adijat Adeley emerged as the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for the Ifo/Ewekoro Federal Constituency seat in the upcoming 2027 general elections. She won the unopposed primary with a total of 25,167 votes, comprising 17,286 votes from Ifo Local Government Area and 7,881 votes from Ewekoro Local Government Area.

The results were announced by Wale Ajayi, the party's electoral officer, in the presence of Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) officials and security personnel. The primary was characterized by a peaceful and orderly process, reflecting the internal democratic values of the APC.

Adeley expressed gratitude for the overwhelming support from party members and emphasized the party's commitment to internal democracy and transparent electoral conduct. In related results, Gboyega Nasir Isiaka secured the APC ticket for the Imeko/Afon Federal Constituency, while Afolabi Afuwap won in the Abeokuta South Federal Constituency, defeating his closest rival, Tolulop Philip, by a margin of 760 votes.
