Ogun PDP Chieftain Giwa Odulana Declares Senate Bid

Giwa Odulana, a prominent chieftain of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) in Ogun State, officially declared his intention to contest for the Ogun East senatorial seat in the 2027 elections. This announcement was made on Wednesday during a stakeholders meeting held at the PDP Ward 3 secretariat in Itantebo, Ijebu Ode.

Odulana highlighted the necessity for significant improvements in the living conditions of the people in Ogun East and expressed his commitment to bringing about a generational shift in leadership. He emphasized the importance of addressing critical areas such as education, health, job creation, and infrastructure development across the nine local government areas within the senatorial district.

Odulana assured that his campaign would focus on inclusivity and welfare, aiming to empower women and youth. He received support from Otunba Ayind Awobadejo, the PDP state vice chairman, who welcomed his candidacy and urged party members to mobilize for the upcoming elections.
