Ogun Polytechnic Rector Warns Students Against Misconduct

During the 20th matriculation ceremony of Ogun State Polytechnic, Dr. Rasaki Akinbo, the rector, formally admitted 3,047 new students and issued a stern warning against drugs, cultism, and examination malpractice.

He emphasized the institution's strict adherence to rules and a zero-tolerance policy towards misconduct, underscoring that discipline and integrity are fundamental to academic success. Dr.

Akinbo advised students to familiarize themselves with the student handbook and focus on good character. He highlighted that the matriculation is not just a ceremonial exercise but a commitment to academic excellence and ethical conduct.

The rector also noted the institution's commitment to aligning its programs with regulatory standards and global best practices to ensure graduates are capable of becoming job creators and leaders in their fields.
