Ogun State Rewards Top OgunLearn Users with Tablets

The Ogun State Government rewarded the top 10 users of the OgunLearn platform with tablets as part of its efforts to promote digital learning and sustain a technology-driven education system. This initiative was disclosed by the Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Prof.

Abayomi Arigbabu, during a presentation in Abeokuta on Tuesday. He noted that Ogun State continues to maintain its reputation as Nigeria's education capital, showcasing leadership in educational reforms and digital initiatives.

The OgunLearn platform, which utilizes artificial intelligence, is tailored to meet Nigerian educational needs and is designed to reflect local cultural experiences. The initiative is part of a broader digital transformation agenda that includes a robust database for monitoring educational interventions.

Arigbabu also mentioned plans for fully digitized classrooms and ongoing training programs for teachers to embrace technology in education. The Ogun State Teaching Service Commission Chairman, Abiodun Sanyaolu, and representatives from the Nigeria Union of Teachers commended the initiative and pledged continued support for programs that aid teacher development.
