Students' Group Endorses Tinubu for 2027 Elections

The Yayi-Kudirat Students Campaign Organisation (YAKSCO) has officially endorsed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for a second term in the 2027 elections. This endorsement was announced by the group convener, Comrade Oladimeji Uthman, during a briefing with newsmen in Abeokuta.

The organization also endorsed Senator Solomon Adeola and Kudirat Adegunwa-Balogun for the Ogun State governorship race. Uthman stated that the endorsement was a result of extensive consultations with campus structures, student leaders, and key stakeholders across Ogun State.

He highlighted that President Tinubu's NELFUND policy resonates with students and is crucial for the continuity of his economic reforms. The group praised the current administration for establishing an industrial foundation in Ogun State and urged future leadership to maintain ongoing developmental projects.

Uthman noted that the combination of Adeola and Adegunwa-Balogun would foster innovation, economic growth, and youth advancement. YAKSCO has initiated grassroots networks in tertiary institutions to promote voter education and civic engagement ahead of the 2027 elections.
