Ogun State Government Warns Schools Against Illegal Fees and Uniform Changes

Ogun State government has issued a stern warning to schools against collecting illegal fees, using unapproved textbooks, and changing uniforms arbitrarily. The Commissioner for Education, Science, and Technology, Abayomi Arigbabu, emphasized that schools found engaging in such practices would face sanctions.

The government aims to prevent the exploitation of parents and ensure uniformity in educational materials and attire. Schools are urged to adhere to regulations, with a limit of one uniform per student.

Additionally, schools are directed to maintain a maximum of 60 students per classroom for effective learning. This move is part of the state's efforts to enhance the quality of education and protect the rights of students and parents.
