Ogun's New Police Commissioner Bode Ojajuni Outlines Vision

Bode Ojajuni has officially resumed his duties as the new Commissioner of Police for Ogun State, taking over from the recently decorated Assistant Inspector General (AIG) Lanr Ogunlowo. In his inaugural address at the command headquarters in Eleweran, Abeokuta, Ojajuni highlighted his commitment to tackling insecurity in the state, drawing on his past experiences in command.

He declared a zero-tolerance policy towards abuse of power, indiscipline, and human rights violations among police personnel. Ojajuni assured that discipline would remain the bedrock of the Nigeria Police Force and emphasized the importance of treating the public with dignity and respect.

He called for collaboration between the police and community members, urging the public to report misconduct through appropriate channels. Ojajuni's administration will focus on proactive policing strategies and inclusivity, engaging traditional rulers, community leaders, and the media to ensure safety across Ogun State.
