Globacom Celebrates Cultural Excellence at Ojude Oba 2026

The Ojude Oba Festival 2026, held in Ijebu Ode, Ogun State, featured significant cultural displays and horse riding competitions sponsored by Globacom. In the male category, Egb Bobakey emerged first, winning N750,000, followed by Egb Bobagunt with N600,000, and Egb Bobamayegun in third place receiving N500,000.

In the female category, Egb Arobayo Precious took first place with N750,000, Egb Jagunmolu Stainless secured second with N600,000, and Egb Bobamayegun Aremo placed third with N500,000. The horse riding competition was a highlight of the festival, with the Kuku family winning the top prize of N750,000, Oreagba family earning N600,000, and Shoy family receiving N500,000 for third place.

Dr. Mike Adenuga Jr., Chairman of Globacom, emphasized the festival's role in promoting unity, tourism, and economic growth, while paying tribute to the late Oba Sikiru Adetona for his dedication to cultural preservation.
