Okereke-Onyuike Celebrates Dr. Ahimi's Historic CIS Election

Professor Ndi Okereke-Onyuike, former Director General of the Nigerian Stock Exchange, commended Dr. Fiona Ahimi for her election as the first female president of the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers (CIS).

This historic achievement is seen as a breakthrough for gender inclusion in Nigeria's capital market. Professor Okereke-Onyuike made these remarks during a visit by Dr.

Ahimi and her high-powered delegation, which included immediate past president Oluropo Dada and other key officials such as Dr. Akeem Oyewale, Jude Chiemeka, and Ayo Adeonipekun.

The inauguration ceremony for Dr. Ahimi is scheduled for June 25, 2026.

Professor Okereke-Onyuike expressed her delight at Dr. Ahimi's election, noting its significance as a milestone for women in the financial services sector.
