Okojie Wins APC Ticket for Edo Constituency Unopposed

Henri Okojie emerged as the unopposed candidate for the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the Esan North-East/Esan South-East Federal Constituency for the 2027 general elections. The primary election, held in Edo State, saw no other aspirants contesting for the seat.

Okojie, who currently serves as the chair of the House Committee on Petroleum Resources (Midstream), expressed his gratitude to party members and emphasized his commitment to delivering democratic dividends to the people. He acknowledged the support from the APC leadership in Edo State, particularly from Governor Mondai Okpebholo, and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for their roles in steering the party's affairs.

Okojie, who first entered the House of Representatives in 2023, aims to continue representing the interests of his constituents and to strengthen the party's structure ahead of the upcoming elections.
