Oshiomhole Wins Unopposed APC Ticket for Edo North Senate

Adams Oshiomhole has been awarded the All Progressives Congress (APC) ticket for the Edo North senatorial seat, winning the primary election unopposed with a total of 24,284 votes. Oshiomhole, a former governor of Edo State, announced the results to journalists, expressing his appreciation to party members for their support.

He stated that he would welcome any individual who wishes to contest against him, viewing it as a significant honor. Oshiomhole emphasized the importance of wisdom and influence in his role, pledging to work towards the development of Edo North.

His candidacy marks his second term bid for the senatorial seat, following his previous withdrawal from the contest, which he attributed to party dynamics.
