Ola Aina Comments on Awoniyi's Departure from Forest

Nottingham Forest defender Ola Aina addressed the impact of Taiwo Awoniyi's departure to Coventry City for £9 million during the summer transfer window. Awoniyi, who made 103 appearances and scored 23 goals for Forest, left the club, leaving Aina as the sole Nigerian in the first-team squad.

Aina has started all three of Forest's league fixtures this season, showcasing consistent performance despite the team's slow start under new head coach Oliver Glasner, who was appointed on July 6. Forest currently sits 16th in the Premier League after an opening defeat to Leeds United and subsequent draws against Tottenham Hotspur.
