Ronik Polytechnic: A Legacy of Technical Education

At the recent 20th matriculation ceremony of Ronik Polytechnic in Lagos, Dr. Abiodun Olafenwa, the Acting Rector, emphasized the institution's commitment to becoming a legacy of technical education dedicated to national development.

He stated that the Polytechnic is prepared to equip students with practical skills rather than just theoretical knowledge, aiming to prepare them as future job creators in a global economy. Olafenwa noted that the Polytechnic has expanded its academic portfolio to meet the demands of modern industries, introducing programs that align with technological advancements.

He highlighted the importance of creating a knowledge-driven ecosystem that fosters innovation and collaboration with industries. Chris Alabi, Vice Chairman of the Governing Council, and Adeola Olubanjo, Deputy Rector, also stressed the importance of students taking responsibility for their education and ensuring that the institution remains relevant in the rapidly evolving technological landscape.
