Oba Obalanleg Praises Ota Firms for CSR Initiatives

Oba Adeyemi Abdulkabir Obalanleg of Ota commended local companies for their commitment to corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives during a press briefing in preparation for his 60th birthday on August 28, 2026. He acknowledged the efforts of firms like Euroglob, which recently repaired Tower Road in the industrial estate of Ota.

The monarch emphasized that while companies strive to meet community needs, government support is also crucial. He mentioned that Senator Solomon Adeola Olamilekan facilitated the approval for the road repair.

Additionally, Oba Obalanleg discussed the importance of youth development, stating that the palace has provided scholarships and vocational training equipment in carpentry, mechanics, tailoring, and welding. He also noted plans to establish a mobile phone assembly plant within the skill acquisition center to further engage the youth of Ota.
