Oba Haastrup Commissions Development Projects in Osun

During a visit to Segilola Resources Operating Limited in Osun State, Oba Clement Adesuyi Haastrup Ajimoko III commissioned several community development projects. The visit included a tour of the Segilola gold mine site and the Oger Ekun Golden Water Factory.

The community development agreement (CDA) projects involve the rehabilitation of the Imogbara-Odo Ijesha road corridor and the construction of a block classroom at Imogbara Primary School. The water factory is designed to produce 3,000 liters of treated water per hour, equipped with a full reverse osmosis and ozone treatment system.

This initiative aims to provide clean drinking water to the Iperindo community, addressing issues of unsafe water sources. The road rehabilitation project includes a 2.4-kilometer stretch, improving access and reducing flooding through efficient drainage systems.

Oba Haastrup commended Segilola Resources for creating employment opportunities for 2,000 individuals across the southwest region, emphasizing the importance of adhering to community development agreements for sustainable growth.
