Alaafin Akeem Owoade Praises Tinubu for Oyo Road Project

Alaafin Akeem Owoade of Oyo commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the approval of the Oyo circular road project, which will link Ijawaya and the Federal Government Girls College (FGGC) in Sabo Ilora, Akinmorin. The monarch described the approval as a demonstration of the President's commitment to infrastructure development and improving the socio-economic conditions of the people.

A statement issued on Tuesday by the Director of Media and Publicity, Bode Durojaiye, highlighted the urgent need for critical infrastructure improvements to enhance economic activities and quality of life in the Oyo metropolis. The Alaafin expressed confidence that the circular road project would ease transportation, boost commerce, and enhance access to essential services, particularly for pregnant women and the elderly.

He acknowledged the contributions of prominent indigenes of Oyo State and reiterated support for the federal government's efforts to bring progress to the metropolis.
