Olubadan Advocates Community Policing to Combat Crime

Olubadan Rashidi Ladoja has emphasized the need for community policing to combat crime in Ibadan and throughout Oyo State. This statement was made during a luncheon held at the Olubadan Palace, which honored participants of a week-long study tour organized by the Institute for Security Studies in Abuja.

Ladoja highlighted that community policing could significantly help in eradicating crime or at least reducing it to a bare minimum. The event featured various dignitaries, including Halimah Ibrahim, who commended Ladoja for his warm reception.

The luncheon served as a platform to showcase Oyo's potential as a pace-setter in community development. Ladoja urged the people of Ibadan to contribute to the progress and development of their community.

The event was attended by several traditional titleholders and representatives from law enforcement agencies, including the Oyo State Police Command and NSCDC.
