Olubadan Denies Allegations Against Governor Makinde

Olubadan has reacted to allegations regarding a supposed plot to unseat Governor Makinde, describing these claims as false and misleading. In a statement issued by his media aide, Chief Adeola Oloko, Olubadan cautioned against dragging the throne into dirty politics.

He specifically mentioned that it is illogical to suggest that a traditional ruler can be removed from their position by political means, stating that even local government chairmen do not possess the authority to impeach a traditional ruler. Ladoja, presumably a reference to a former governor, reiterated the commitment to the traditional institution and urged political actors in the state to refrain from involving the revered throne in partisan controversies.
