Oluremi Tinubu to Launch Industrialization Program in Kano

Oluremi Tinubu, the First Lady of Nigeria, is set to unveil the Federal Government's industrialization program in Kano State from April 23 to April 25, 2026. The initiative, named "Energis Commercialis," is designed to mobilize innovation and attract investment to accelerate industrial production across Nigeria's six geopolitical zones.

Ibrahim Waiya, the Kano State Commissioner for Internal Affairs, disclosed that the event will feature a series of activities, positioning Kano at the forefront of Nigeria's innovation-driven economic transformation. The launch will be officiated by Oluremi Tinubu, who will serve as the special guest of honor.

The event is expected to gather representatives from federal and state governments, including governors, first ladies from the Northwest, research institutions, universities, and private sector investors. It will include a high-level panel discussion and a mini-exhibit showcasing selected innovations, aimed at unlocking the innovative potential of the people and fostering economic prosperity.
