Tinubu's Northern Projects to Ensure 2027 Re-election

Musa Illiyasu Kwankwaso, Executive Director of the Hadejia Jama River Basin Development Authority, asserted that President Bola Tinubu's projects in northern Nigeria will ensure his re-election in 2027. Kwankwaso emphasized that these initiatives align with the Renewed Hope Agenda of the Federal Executive Council, prioritizing development in the North West and North East regions.

He highlighted significant projects such as the 132-kilometer Kano-Kongolom Road, valued at N334 billion, designed to connect Kano, Jigawa, and Katsina. Other notable projects include the ongoing reconstruction of the Abuja-Kaduna-Kano Expressway and the 1,068-kilometer Sokoto-Badagry Superhighway.

Kwankwaso mentioned the 37.8-kilometer Kano Eastern Bypass, aimed at diverting heavy industrial traffic, and the Kano-Maradi Rail Line, a 284-kilometer project linking Kano to Niger Republic. He also referenced the N47 billion Jakara-Gogau-Zungeru urban drainage and sewage system project in Kano, aimed at flood control and sanitation improvement.
