Aiyedatiwa to Launch Projects at Omoluorogbo School's 50th

Omoluorogbo Grammar School in Akure, Ondo State, is preparing for its 50th anniversary celebration, with Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa set to inaugurate a completed ultra-modern administrative block and perform the groundbreaking ceremony for two new four-classroom block projects initiated by the school's alumni. These events, scheduled for Saturday, are part of a broader initiative to improve the school's educational infrastructure.

The anniversary, themed "Celebrating Our Legacy, Shaping the Future," will attract various stakeholders, including former students, government representatives, and traditional leaders. Hon. Kayode Akinmade, Chairman of the OGSA 50th Anniversary Planning and Implementation Committee, noted that alumni from different graduating years are mobilizing for the celebration, with international participation expected from alumni in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, and parts of Asia.

The three-day celebration will begin on October 29 with a thanksgiving service and will culminate on October 31 with the inauguration and groundbreaking ceremonies.
