Omoyibo Urges Isoko Support for APC and Development

Chief Daniel Omoyibo, a prominent Isoko industrialist and philanthropist, urged the Isoko community to unite in support of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Delta State Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, and Senator Joel-Onowakpo Thomas as the 2027 elections approach. This call was made during a courtesy visit from Senator Joel-Onowakpo in Oleh, where discussions focused on the political future and development of Isoko Nation.

Omoyibo stressed the importance of avoiding political division and supporting leaders capable of fostering development. He commended Senator Joel-Onowakpo for his role in establishing the Federal Medical Centre (FMC) in Oleh, which was made possible through the Federal Medical Centre Act (Amendment) Bill 2023, introduced in the Senate on November 7, 2023, and signed into law by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The FMC is expected to enhance healthcare access and create job opportunities in Delta South. The meeting concluded with a renewed call for political unity among the Isoko people.
