Ondo APC Seeks Unity Among Members After Primaries

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo State is taking steps to reconcile aggrieved members after the recent National Assembly primary elections. On Tuesday, the party’s State Working Committee (SWC), led by Chairman Hon.

Babatunde Kolawole, visited former Deputy Governor Otunba Omolade Oluwateru to seek his support in fostering unity and mobilizing backing for Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu ahead of the 2027 general elections. Kolawole urged Oluwateru to leverage his political influence to help ease tensions among dissatisfied party members.

He acknowledged the inevitability of disagreements post-primaries and noted the establishment of a reconciliation committee to engage with aggrieved members. Oluwateru praised the proactive approach of the party leadership and expressed his commitment to supporting the party's unity and the re-election of President Tinubu in 2027, emphasizing the importance of collective efforts among party members.
