Oyo APC Forms Reconciliation Committee Ahead of 2027 Elections

The Oyo State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has formed a reconciliation committee to address grievances raised by aspirants and stakeholders following the recent party primaries. The announcement was made on a Sunday, with the committee expected to be inaugurated within the week.

The committee is led by notable figures including Senator Olufemi Lanlehin and former civil service head Prof. Afolabi Oladapo, among others.

The state chairman of the party, former Deputy Governor Mose Adeyemo, will mandate the committee to engage with relevant stakeholders, including dissatisfied aspirants, to mend fences and promote unity within the party. This initiative comes as the APC prepares for the 2027 general elections, with the hope that it will lead to a stronger party capable of achieving electoral success.

The committee includes members such as Abisoy Fagad and Kamorudeen Ajisaf, reflecting a diverse representation of the party's interests.
