Ondo APC Initiates Reconciliation for 2027 Elections

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo State is taking steps to reconcile aggrieved members as part of its preparations for the 2027 general elections. Governor Aiyedatiwa convened a meeting with the party's advisory council on Wednesday, which took place at the banquet hall of the government house.

The meeting aimed to reaffirm support for President Bola Tinubu's re-election bid and to strengthen internal cohesion within the party. Chief Piu Akinyelure, chairman of the advisory council, emphasized the importance of unity and dialogue in resolving political differences.

He noted that the last council meeting was held on August 9, 2025, and expressed gratitude for the opportunity to discuss issues affecting the growth of the Ondo State APC. The council unanimously endorsed Aiyedatiwa as the leader of the party in the state and called for collective efforts to improve the party's performance in the upcoming elections.
