Ondo AG Ajulo Refutes Adedayo's Claims on Aiyedatiwa

Dr. Olukayode Ajulo, the Attorney General of Ondo State, publicly rebutted claims made by veteran columnist Festus Adedayo in an opinion piece titled "Aiyedatiwa's Year of Locust." Ajulo emphasized that Aiyedatiwa's administration has made substantial progress, including the construction of 190 kilometers of quality roads across three senatorial districts and the renovation of 112 primary healthcare centers. He criticized Adedayo for failing to acknowledge these achievements and labeled his comments as defamatory and malicious.

Ajulo also noted that Aiyedatiwa's administration has secured a revalidation of the Ondo deep sea port license and has made strides in the education sector by constructing and renovating classrooms. Furthermore, Ajulo condemned recent violence during the APC ward congress in Idanre and called for investigations into the incidents, asserting that Aiyedatiwa's government is committed to transparency and accountability.

He reaffirmed the governor's dedication to a peaceful and fair electoral process ahead of the November 2024 governorship elections.
