Aiyedatiwa Denies Impeachment Plot Against Deputy Governor

Governor Lucki Aiyedatiwa of Ondo State has publicly denied claims of an impeachment plot against Deputy Governor Olayid Adelami. The rumors, which surfaced last year, suggested a rift between the governor and his deputy, allegedly fueled by certain members of the state House of Assembly.

Aiyedatiwa addressed these speculations during the inauguration of the newly completed Ayegun-Iwaro Oka road in Akoko South West Local Government Area on Friday. He dismissed the notion of discord, asserting that the alleged impeachment agenda was a fabrication by political opponents aiming to create unrest within the administration.

Deputy Governor Olayid Adelami acknowledged the presence of the governor and expressed gratitude, while also addressing the circulation of a fake video related to the impeachment claims. Aiyedatiwa emphasized his role as a prophet and reassured the public of the administration's stability.
