Ondo Governor Aiyedatiwa Dissolves Cabinet, Plans 1,000 Aides

Ondo State Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa has officially announced the dissolution of his cabinet, which includes the immediate termination of all political aides, specifically senior special assistants and special assistants. This decision, communicated through a statement by Chief Press Secretary Ebenez Adeniyan, marks a significant restructuring within the state government.

The governor expressed gratitude to the outgoing aides for their contributions to the state's development during their tenure. Following this major shake-up, Aiyedatiwa plans to appoint a new set of 1,000 aides, aimed at improving efficiency and service delivery across Ondo State.

The new appointments will be drawn from the state's administrative framework and will cover all 203 wards across the 18 local government areas. This move is part of a broader strategy to strengthen coordination and inject fresh capacity into the administration.
