Tragic Tricycle Collision in Jos Leaves One Dead, Three Injured

On Monday evening, a tragic accident occurred in Jos when two commercial tricycles, commonly known as keke napep, collided. Eyewitness Joseph Haruna reported that the crash happened around 5 PM as one tricycle attempted to dodge a pothole on the road, leading to a collision with another tricycle coming from the opposite direction.

The impact of the collision resulted in the death of one passenger at the scene, while three other occupants of the tricycles sustained varying degrees of injuries. The injured victims were immediately evacuated and taken to a hospital for medical attention.

Eyewitness Mose John described the accident as tragic and called on relevant authorities to urgently fill the potholes along the road, which pose serious dangers to motorists and road users. The accident also caused significant traffic congestion in the area.
