“Only losers cry foul” – APC mocks opposition parties over by-elections results

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has mocked opposition parties over the results of the recent by-elections, calling them "losers" for crying foul. The APC's national publicity secretary, Felix Morka, described the elections as largely credible, with isolated cases of violence in some constituencies.

Morka stated that the elections conducted across 16 constituencies in 12 states were generally free and fair. He criticized opposition parties for making excuses for their defeat, saying that challenges in the electoral process are a normal part of democracy.

Morka emphasized that the APC is preparing to challenge any irregularities that occurred during the elections through legal means. He also criticized the African Democratic Congress (ADC) for its disappointing performance and suggested that the party was using unfounded allegations to cover up its poor electoral performance.

Morka highlighted that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) conducted the elections within the framework provided by law, and the outcome reflected public confidence in the APC leadership.
