Onyeka Urges Coventry Teammates to Stay Focused vs Arsenal

Frank Onyeka, a midfielder for Coventry City, has warned his teammates to avoid complacency as they prepare for their Premier League opener against Arsenal on August 21. He stressed the importance of tactical discipline when facing a formidable opponent like Arsenal, which he described as difficult to contain.

Coventry City returns to the Premier League for the first time since 2001 after being promoted under manager Frank Lampard, who signed a new contract on June 30, extending his stay until 2029. Onyeka, who joined Coventry permanently after a successful loan from Brentford, acknowledged the need for his team to be compact and focused, particularly against teams like Manchester City, Brighton, and Liverpool.

He also mentioned the individual talents of players such as Kevin De Bruyne, Martin Ødegaard, and Phil Foden, emphasizing the necessity of maintaining concentration to avoid being punished.
