The Speaker emphasized that no letter was received or discussions held regarding rotational chairmanship among traditional rulers in Osun State. This clarification aims to dispel misinformation and maintain the credibility of the legislative body.

The statement contrasts ongoing debates in Oyo State, where Governor Seyi Makinde recently introduced a rotational chairmanship system for the Oyo State Council of Obas, involving three lead monarchs including Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Rashidi Ladoja.
