APC Chairman Yilwatda Critiques Opposition Parties' Readiness

Professor Nentaw Yilwatda, the Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), expressed concerns about the readiness of opposition parties in Nigeria to assume national leadership. Speaking in Abuja, he highlighted ongoing crises within several opposition parties, indicating a lack of capacity to manage the country's complex social, political, and economic governance issues.

Yilwatda argued that these parties are unable to resolve internal conflicts, enforce discipline, or build consensus among their members. He warned that if political actors cannot maintain stability within their own organizations, they cannot be entrusted with governing Nigeria.

His remarks were communicated through a media advisory issued by Mr. Abimbola Tooki.

Yilwatda pointed out deeper structural flaws and poor leadership capacities within the opposition, cautioning that their internal sabotages and crises weaken their ability to govern effectively.
