APC Not to Blame for ADC, PDP Crises, Says Yilwatda

In a live nationwide media chat on Wednesday night, Professor Nentaw Yilwatda, the chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), addressed the internal crises affecting the African Democratic Congress (ADC) and the People's Democratic Party (PDP). He asserted that the APC should not be held responsible for the challenges faced by these opposition parties, particularly highlighting the ADC's lack of internal democracy.

Yilwatda criticized the ADC for attempting to blame the APC for its failures, referencing the recent convention where David Mark was elected amid grievances from some members. He also discussed the importance of adhering to judicial processes and cautioned against discrediting the judiciary for personal interests.

Yilwatda pointed out that the APC aims to create a pan-Nigerian political party that resonates with grassroots citizens and articulated the government's economic reforms under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, which have reportedly led to improvements in macroeconomic indicators and infrastructure development.
