FCT FA Announces 2026 Women’s Inter Area Council Tournament

The Federal Capital Territory Football Association (FCT FA) has announced the 2026 FCT FA Women’s Inter Area Council Football Tournament, set to commence on Friday, August 21, 2026, at 10 am in the Federal Capital Territory. This annual tournament aims to showcase female football talents from the six Area Councils, providing a competitive platform for young women and promoting the discovery and development of promising players.

The ceremonial kickoff will be conducted by Alhaji Adam Mouktar Mohammed, the Chairman of the FCT Football Association, with various stakeholders expected to attend. The tournament will feature two groups: Group A includes Bwari, Gwagwalada, and AMAC, while Group B consists of Abaji, Kuje, and Kwali.

Matches will be played on a home and away basis, leading to a knockout stage and culminating in the grand finale on September 5, 2026.
