Anambra Speaker Calls for Home-Based Orientation

Somtochukwu Udez, the Speaker of the Anambra State House of Assembly, declared that orientation should start from homes to combat serious deviations in societal values. During a meeting with Barr.

Ladi Ifeoma Chijiok, the Anambra State Director of the National Orientation Agency (NOA), Udez noted that Nigerian leaders and parents are deceiving the youth with empty promises about the future. He expressed regret that despite the beauty of the nation’s institutions, there has been no significant change over the years.

Udez confirmed the Anambra State House of Assembly's willingness to partner with the NOA to positively change society. He advocated for the establishment of strong guidance and counseling units in schools across the state to rejuvenate eroded moral lessons.

Barr. Chijiok highlighted the NOA's commitment to renewing the national orientation movement and emphasized the legislative role in building a society founded on patriotism, integrity, and social justice.
