Esther Osaghae Seeks Justice for Husband's Death in 2024

Esther Osaghae is still pursuing justice for her husband, Fidelis Osaghae, who died on July 29, 2024, under disputed circumstances. Fidelis, a 33-year-old restaurant manager, left home promising to return but never did.

Esther received a call directing her to a hospital in Afashio, Edo State, where her sister, Mabel Akhagbemhe, discovered the situation. This initiated a two-year search for answers involving police investigations, multiple autopsy examinations, and conflicting toxicology reports.

The first toxicology report, dated November 15, 2024, indicated the presence of chlorpyrifos, while a second report from April 22, 2025, found no such pesticide but detected tetrahydrocannabinol (THC). Esther expressed her frustration over the lack of clarity surrounding her husband's death and is determined to see justice served against the main suspect, Valentine Oyemike, and others involved.

Their first wedding anniversary was just days away from Fidelis's death, adding to the tragedy of the situation.
