Osifo Accepts APC Primary Defeat, Pledges Support for Tinubu

Stanlei Osifo, a businessman and presidential aspirant, accepted his defeat in the All Progressives Congress (APC) primary election held on a Saturday, where he garnered 16,503 votes compared to Bola Ahmed Tinubu's 10,999,162 votes. Despite the loss, Osifo expressed satisfaction with the outcome and pledged to work for the success of the party in the upcoming 2027 elections.

He emphasized the need for unity within the APC, stating that no individual can succeed alone and that collaboration is essential. Osifo had previously purchased a nomination form for N100 million to contest the primary but did not challenge the legitimacy of the process.

He acknowledged that he received zero votes in several states, including the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Delta, Kogi, Ebonyi, and Jigawa. Osifo expressed gratitude for the support he received across the country and reiterated his commitment to work together with Tinubu and other party members.
