Victor Osimhen, a 27-year-old forward for Galatasaray, sustained a fractured right forearm during a match against Liverpool. The incident occurred in the first half when Osimhen challenged Liverpool defender Ibrahima Konaté for an aerial ball, resulting in him landing awkwardly on his arm.

Despite receiving treatment on the field and having his forearm bandaged, Osimhen did not return for the second half due to concerns about a possible fracture. Post-match examinations at the hospital confirmed the fracture, and his arm has been placed in a cast.

Galatasaray stated that a decision regarding potential surgery will be made after further assessments. This injury adds to the challenges Osimhen has faced this season, which has already seen multiple setbacks affecting his rhythm.
