Galatasaray Unveils UCL Squad with Osimhen and Leão

Turkish champions Galatasaray have officially submitted their squad for the 2026/27 UEFA Champions League, which includes Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen and new signing Rafael Leão. UEFA confirmed that all 36 clubs participating in the league phase submitted their squads ahead of the competition starting on September 8.

Galatasaray's squad features prominent players such as Leroy Sané, İlkay Gündoğan, Lucas Torreira, and Davinson Sánchez. Osimhen, listed among the forwards, is anticipated to play a crucial role in the club's attacking strategy, providing a proven goalscoring threat.

His inclusion is expected to attract significant attention from Nigerian football supporters. Rafael Leão, who joined from AC Milan for a fixed fee of €38 million, signed a four-year contract with a guaranteed net salary of €10 million per season.
