Osinbajo Survives Helicopter Crash During 2019 Campaign Tour in Kogi State

On February 2, 2019, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo miraculously survived a helicopter crash in Kabba, Kogi State, during a presidential campaign tour for President Muhammadu Buhari. The crash occurred as Osinbajo's team was mobilizing support for the All Progressives Congress (APC).

The helicopter, operated by Caverton Helicopters, crash-landed after experiencing technical issues, with all 12 occupants, including the Vice President, escaping unhurt. Osinbajo's former media aide, Laolu Akande, shared details of the incident, highlighting Osinbajo's quick return to the campaign trail after the crash.

This was the second helicopter-related scare for Osinbajo within a year, following a similar incident in June 2018. Despite the close calls, Osinbajo continued his official duties, showcasing resilience in the face of adversity.
