APC Rejects Adeleke's Allegations of Federal Influence

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has rejected allegations made by Osun State Governor Adeleke, who accused the party of planning to use federal influence to manipulate the upcoming governorship election set for August 15, 2026. APC's spokesman described Adeleke's claims as baseless and asserted that the party has no intention of unlawfully influencing the electoral process.

The statement, issued on a Sunday, emphasized the party's commitment to a legitimate political strategy and free electoral practices. Olabisi, a representative of the APC, highlighted the party's campaign momentum, noting the defection of several prominent political figures to the APC, which he believes strengthens their chances in the upcoming race.

Among those mentioned are Shuaib Oyedokun, Franci Adenigba, Fadahunsi Wole Ok, Dotun Babayemi, and Akin Ogunbiyi. Meanwhile, Governor Adeleke continues to express concerns about potential voter intimidation and urges residents to remain vigilant to protect the integrity of the electoral process.
