Adeleke and Davido Promote Peace Ahead of Osun Election

On Thursday, Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke inaugurated the newly constructed Oke-Fia flyover in Osogbo. During the event, his cousin, David Adeleke, known as Davido, encouraged the electorate to engage peacefully in the upcoming governorship election scheduled for August 15.

Davido urged voters to come out in large numbers and protect their votes without resorting to violence, stating, “Stay back and protect your vote, but do so peacefully.” Governor Adeleke highlighted the significance of elections in sustaining democracy and called on eligible voters to fulfill their civic duties peacefully. He expressed gratitude to the people of Osun for their support since he took office and assured them of more developmental projects if re-elected.

The Ataoja of Osogbo, represented by Justice Adekunle Adeigbe (retd), praised Adeleke for the infrastructural developments in the community, affirming the positive impact of his administration's projects.
