Political Parties Sign Peace Accord for Osun Election

Governor Ademola Adeleke alleged that members of the Accord Party were improperly detained by the Osun State Police Command and transferred to Abuja and Nasarawa State instead of being prosecuted in Osun. He called for their return if they are to face trial and urged the NPC to engage President Bola Tinubu regarding escalating political violence.

Adeleke claimed that members of his party had been targeted, with several killed or injured in recent attacks.
