Osun Group Urges Political Actors to Maintain Decorum for 2026 Election

The group TOM, led by Prof. Wasiu Oyedokun Alli, has called on political actors in Osun State to uphold decorum for the upcoming 2026 governorship election.

They emphasize the importance of civil discourse and issue-based campaigns, urging aspirants to avoid inflammatory politics. Concerns were raised about the increasing number of aspirants, particularly within the APC, and the need to prevent internal conflicts.

The group also criticized the state government for neglecting governance in favor of political maneuvers, highlighting issues such as teacher and health worker recruitment delays and lack of welfare support for the Amotekun corps.
