Adeleke Inaugurates Projects at University of Ilesa

On Tuesday, Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke inaugurated multiple projects at the University of Ilesa (Unilesa), fulfilling his pledge to enhance the institution. The projects included the remodeling of the Faculty of Law annex, Faculty of Public Health, Faculty of Basic Clinic Science, and the construction of a new hostel.

Adeleke stated that his government enacted a state law to establish the university and provide a framework for its governance and accreditation of several courses. He assured that a world-class administration would be appointed to oversee the university's smooth transition from the defunct Osun State College of Education, Ilesa, without negatively affecting staff.

Additionally, he mentioned plans to implement a new salary structure for the university, including the payment of outstanding arrears to ensure that staff receive their salaries promptly.
