APC Accuses Adeleke of Influencing Release of Suspect

On Thursday, the Osun State Governorship Campaign Council of the All Progressives Congress (APC) accused Governor Ademola Adeleke of allegedly trying to influence security agencies to secure the release of a wanted criminal suspect, Abiodun Oladele Arowomole, also known as Abbey Ashipa. Arowomole was reportedly arrested at the residence of the Secretary to the State Government, Alhaji Teslim Igbalaye, and is linked to several violent incidents, including the killings of APC members.

Engr. Oluremi Omowaiye, the Head of Media and Publicity for the APC Governorship Campaign Council, called for the governor's cooperation with security agencies and urged him to take decisive action, including potentially relieving Igbalaye of his position if wrongdoing is established. The APC emphasized that the fight against crime should not be influenced by political affiliations and warned against any attempts to obstruct police investigations, asserting that all individuals found culpable should be prosecuted.
