Osun APC Chairman Tajudeen Lawal Loses Wife Fatimah

Tajudeen Lawal, the chairman of the Osun State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has experienced the loss of his wife, Fatimah Lawal. The party announced her passing in a statement signed by spokesperson Kola Olabisi, noting that she died at the Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospital in Ife after a brief illness.

The statement described Fatimah as a virtuous woman, a devoted Muslimah, and a pillar of support for her husband, emphasizing her compassion and commitment to family. The APC extended heartfelt condolences to Lawal and his family, acknowledging the irreparable loss.

According to Islamic rites, she is to be buried on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at 12 noon. The governorship election campaign council, led by Bola Oyebamiji, also expressed shock at her sudden death, with Wole Ok, the director-general of the campaign council, sharing the grief and reflecting on the inevitability of death.
